The following is a Starcraft 2 strategy for Zerg:

1. First thing to do is get all 6 drones to mine minerals. When you send drones to mine minerals, make sure to split the work. Send 3 drones to mine a mineral further away from the other 3. This allows you to gather minerals faster.

2. Start creating drones through hatchery.

3. Send Overlord to scout out the other nearest starting location. If there are no one using that location, you will be sending in a Drone for expansion later. Do not leave your Overlord hanging out. Move and position your overlord between two other starting locations for an easy access to a scout.

4. Create another Overlord. One way of getting this done in a timely fashion is by creating Drones until you have reached 10/10 worth of supply. When you have mined 50 minerals, make one of your Drones into an Extractor. This brings down your supply count to 9/10 which will allow you to create another Drone. After creating another Drone, you can cancel the Extractor to get your drone back and some minerals. This will bring your supply count to 11/10. Create your Overlord when your minerals reach 100.

5. As you grow your empire. You want to build a Queen for each Hatchery. You want to also use your Extractors since Zerg has many units that require a lot of gas.

6. Position an Overlord between each base.

7. Keep your units on the move and scouting for areas where you can expand.

8. As soon as you get a Lair, upgrade your Overlord speed. When the upgrade is done, position your Overlords across the map to expand creep. To generate creep, you select the Overlord and press "g". Great strategic areas to place your Overlords are unused mineral deposit areas, islands, and routes that are commonly used.

You can also use Creep Tumors to expand creep.

9. When you reach 50 supply, build Evolution Chambers.

Here are a few key things that you want to focus on.

• Take expansions
• Upgrade
• Spread creep
• Keep injecting your Hatcheries
• Keep creating units
• Take out the opponent's workers
